CrossRef

Crossref is a non-profit organization that maintains the official DOI registration system for scholarly publications. When a publisher assigns a DOI to an article, it is registered with Crossref along with metadata (title, authors, references). Crossref's open metadata feeds power most discovery tools, including JournalsHub's citation data.
