Postprint

A postprint (also called an accepted manuscript or author's accepted manuscript, AAM) is the version of a paper after peer review and revisions have been completed, but before the publisher's final formatting. Many publishers allow authors to deposit their postprint in an institutional repository after an embargo period (typically 6-12 months). This is the basis of Green Open Access.
